Far East National Bank Introduces Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS) to CPAs in Orange County, California.

Los Angeles, CA – October 31, 2008 -- Far East National Bank (“FENB”) hosted a luncheon seminar on October 2, 2008 to introduce the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS) to CPAs, attorneys, and other individuals involved with wealth management.

CDARS is a program providing depositors with access of up to $50 million in FDIC insurance coverage on certificates of deposit.  As a member of the CDARS, FENB places funds across a network of FDIC-insured banks, enabling customers to work with just one institution while enjoying full insurance coverage on the entire amount of their funds.

The seminar was conducted by Warren Blom, Business Development Advisor at Promontory Interfinancial Network, the company that administers the CDARS service.  The seminar outlined fund management solutions for CPAs and their clients, addressing topics such as risk of consolidation of funds, on going cash management, and investment options.

The event marked the first of many CDARS seminars that FENB will be hosting for 2008 and the upcoming year.  CPA attendees were awarded one hour of NASBA Approved CPE Credit. For more information about CDARS and upcoming seminars, visit us at www.fenb-us.com or call (866) FENB-USA.
