2. Have your loan number ready
3. Be prepared to explain your financial difficulty or hardship
4. Submit your financial and other information including:

• Letters or communication from your lender
• Delinquent payment/demand letters
• Foreclosure notices
• Recent mortgage statement showing your loan number
• Homeowner’s insurance policy
• Last two pay stubs and most recent tax return for all borrowers named on the mortgage
• Proof of income, such as salary, wages, child support, spousal support, Social Security, pension and any other income
• Bank account statements (last two months)
• List of major monthly bills, including mortgage payments, child care expenses, medical and dental expenses, food, clothing, utilities, educational expenses, credit card and other loan payments, car payments, car insurance, and other expenses
